Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and professional X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and care, ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires a strong understanding of radiographic techniques and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with medical staff and patients. Prior experience in hospital or healthcare settings, particularly within hospitality environments such as hotel-based clinics, is highly desirable. Duties

Prepare patients for X-ray examinations by explaining procedures and positioning them correctly to obtain optimal images. Operate X-ray equipment safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations to minimise radiation exposure. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including imaging data and relevant medical history. Assist radiologists and medical practitioners in reviewing images for clarity and diagnostic quality. Ensure the cleanliness, calibration, and proper functioning of all radiographic equipment. Follow strict protocols for infection control and patient confidentiality at all times. Provide compassionate care, ensuring patient comfort throughout the imaging process. Keep up-to-date with advancements in radiographic technology and maintain relevant certifications.

Experience

Previous experience working as an X-ray Technician in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred. Experience within hospitality environments, such as hotel-based clinics or medical tourism facilities, is considered advantageous. Familiarity with hospital procedures, patient handling, and safety standards is essential. Certification in radiography recognised by relevant health authorities is required. Knowledge of hospital or healthcare software systems for record keeping is beneficial. Pay: $50.77 - $71.44 per hour
