Overview:
Bloomfield Select Travel Soccer is the recently formed travel branch of Bloomfield Hills Youth Soccer League bhysl.com. We formed 13 teams for the 2025-2026 cycle. We are looking to add some assistant coaches to help run sessions this winter and cover practices when coaches may be at different facilities. Sessions on Mondays and Tuesdays are at Lone Pine Elementary. Thursday sessions are at two different facilities. Availability if from around 5pm to 8:30pm. Sessions could be with a variety of teams and depend on coach availability and qualifications.

Responsibilities:
- Help director and/or team coach with sessions for 7v7 and 9v9 players.

- Run pre-planned sessions.

- Plan and run sessions independently.

- Effective communication with families and Bloomfield Soccer staff.

Qualifications:

- Availability starting at 5pm Monday, Tuesday, and/or Thursday
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience coaching youth players preferred.
- Knowledge of education principles and learning methodologies.
- Playing experience preferred.
- D Coaching License or willingness to pursue USSF coaching licenses. (We provide financial assistance for licenses.

Compensation will be based upon qualifications, experience, and licenses.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
