Position: RN-PICU-Pediatrics Intensive Care Unit (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and interventions.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures in the PICU.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Educate families on care plans and health management for pediatric patients.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Utilize data to track patient outcomes and improve care strategies.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Engage in performance evaluations and set personal growth goals.
Assist in training and mentoring new nursing staff in the PICU.
Experience/Qualifications
Valid RN license in Texas with pediatric intensive care experience.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Demonstrated ability to monitor and assess pediatric patient conditions effectively.
Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and families.
Ability to work in a results-driven environment with high visibility.
Experience in developing and implementing patient care plans in a team setting.
Experience in quality improvement initiatives within a healthcare setting.
Strong documentation skills for maintaining accurate patient care records.
Ability to educate families on care plans and pediatric health management.
Willingness to mentor new nursing staff and support team development.
