Position: RN-PCU-Progressive Care Unit (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit.
Monitor and assess patient conditions regularly to ensure optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop patient care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.
Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patient care quality.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions.
Achieve departmental targets and contribute to overall team success.
Adapt to changing patient needs and unit demands effectively.
Experience/Qualifications
Current RN license in Maryland or compact state required.
Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting preferred.
Proficiency in documenting patient care accurately and timely.
Commitment to achieving departmental targets and contributing to team success.
Strong understanding of patient care protocols and evidence-based practices.
Excellent communication skills for patient and team interactions.
Adaptability to changing patient needs and unit demands effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple patient care activities.
