We're hiring experienced RN-Oncology for a 13-week contract in Alamogordo, New Mexico -- earn up to ($2006 - $2111 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

Administer chemotherapy and other oncology treatments to patients. Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition. Educate patients and families about treatment plans and side effects. Participate in ongoing professional development and training. Engage in performance evaluations and set personal goals. Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Evaluate and implement best practices in oncology nursing. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures. Utilize data to assess treatment effectiveness and patient outcomes. Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.

Experience/Qualifications

Current RN license with oncology nursing certification preferred. Strong understanding of chemotherapy administration and patient care protocols. Minimum of 2 years experience in oncology nursing or related field. Commitment to continuous professional development and learning. Strong adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Excellent communication skills for patient and family education. Willingness to engage in performance evaluations and set personal goals. Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation standards. Demonstrated ability to assess treatment effectiveness using data.
