Position: RN-Medical Surgical-Telemetry (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry settings.
Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status regularly.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.
Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Utilize data and metrics to evaluate patient outcomes and improve care.
Support a positive team environment and contribute to team goals.
Engage in performance reviews and set personal development goals.
Stay updated on best practices and advancements in nursing care.
Experience/Qualifications
Current RN license in Ohio with a focus on medical-surgical nursing.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training in nursing.
Ability to thrive in a results-oriented environment with high visibility.
Experience in telemetry nursing with strong patient assessment skills.
Ability to educate patients and families on health management effectively.
Willingness to engage in performance reviews and set personal development goals.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols in healthcare settings.
Strong documentation skills for accurate patient care record-keeping.
