Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry settings.
Monitor and assess patient vital signs and report changes promptly.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures at all times.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Utilize data and metrics to evaluate patient outcomes and improve care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Engage in performance evaluations and set personal growth goals.
Assist in training and mentoring new nursing staff as needed.
Experience/Qualifications
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio with current certifications.
Experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing settings preferred.
Strong assessment skills to monitor patient vital signs effectively.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Proficient in patient education on health management and recovery.
Familiarity with safety protocols and infection control measures.
Strong documentation skills for accurate patient care records.
Ability to utilize data to evaluate patient outcomes and improve care.
