Position: RN-Medical Surgical-Telemetry (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities
Monitor and assess patients' conditions in the medical-surgical unit.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor patients' heart rhythms.
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Document patient information and treatment plans accurately and timely.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
Maintain high visibility of work activity and achieve set targets.
Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions.
Evaluate and improve patient care processes for better outcomes.
Adapt to changing patient needs and hospital protocols.
Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues.
Experience/Qualifications
Current RN license in North Carolina or compact state.
Minimum of 2 years experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing.
Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
Proven track record of achieving set targets in a high-visibility environment.
Proficient in using telemetry equipment for patient monitoring.
Strong communication skills for patient and family education.
Familiarity with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and hospital protocols.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
