Position: RN-LTC-Long Term Care (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to long-term care patients.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
Utilize performance metrics to assess and improve care delivery.
Monitor and document patient progress and changes in condition.
Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Educate patients and families on health management and care plans.
Engage in regular communication with patients and their families.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the facility.
Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing staff.
Manage time effectively to meet patient care needs and deadlines.
Experience/Qualifications
Valid RN license in South Dakota with long-term care experience.
Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols in healthcare.
Ability to engage in regular communication with patients and families.
Experience in monitoring and documenting patient care accurately.
Ability to educate patients and families on care management.
Strong time management skills to meet patient care deadlines.
Proficient in utilizing performance metrics to improve care.
Experience in quality improvement initiatives within healthcare settings.
