Position: RN-ER-Emergency Department (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in the ER.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.
Contribute to achieving departmental targets and performance metrics.
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure effective treatment plans.
Engage in performance evaluations to track personal growth.
Stay updated on the latest emergency care practices and technologies.
Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.
Assist in triaging patients based on severity of conditions.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families about care plans.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
Utilize electronic health records for accurate patient documentation.
Experience/Qualifications
Current RN license in Virginia with a focus on emergency care.
Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and training.
Experience in emergency department settings, preferably as a Travel RN.
Strong focus on achieving departmental performance metrics and targets.
Strong communication skills for effective patient and family interactions.
Proficiency in using electronic health records for patient documentation.
Knowledge of emergency care practices and current medical technologies.
Ability to collaborate with a diverse medical team for optimal patient care.
Ability to triage patients effectively based on condition severity.
Commitment to maintaining safety protocols and a clean working environment.
