Travel RN - MS/Tele Respiratory (Nights) - Tuscaloosa, AL 35401

Pay Rate:

$50/hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Travel Registered Nurse

to join the

MS/Tele Respiratory Unit

in

Tuscaloosa, Alabama

. This 42-bed unit focuses on the care of patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions, offering a collaborative environment dedicated to patient-centered recovery and optimal outcomes.

Unit Details:

Primary Focus:

Respiratory patients with pneumonia, COPD, shortness of breath, and other pulmonary diseases.

Additional Cases:

Medical patients with GI issues, diabetes, and occasional stroke or surgical needs.

Respiratory Step-Down Unit:

Includes an 8-bed area with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Medical Respiratory Unit:

1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio. Daily interdisciplinary rounds ensure coordinated, high-quality care for all patients.

Hours:

36 or 48 hours per week accepted

Weekends:

Every other weekend required

Holidays:

As needed

Floating:

Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals within the system

Qualifications:

Education:

Associate degree in Nursing (required)

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience; may consider 18 months with 1 year in specialty area

Licensure:

Active

Alabama RN license

or

Compact RN license

(temporary licenses not accepted)

Certifications:

+ AHA or Red Cross

BLS

(required)
