Travel RN - MS/Tele Cardiac (Nights) - Tuscaloosa, AL 35401



Pay Rate:

$50/hour

Position Overview:



We are seeking an experienced

Travel Registered Nurse

to join the

MS/Tele Cardiac

in

Tuscaloosa, Alabama

. This 42-bed cardiac telemetry unit specializes in providing exceptional care to patients with cardiac conditions, as well as a variety of medical and surgical cases.

Unit Details:



Patient Ratio:

1:6

Primary Patient Population:

Cardiac patients with chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, and various arrhythmias.

Additional Cases:

Medical patients with pneumonia, COPD, diabetes, GI issues, and occasional stroke, as well as post-surgical patients. The care team emphasizes patient-centered recovery and optimal outcomes through collaboration and compassionate service.

Shift:

Nights

Hours:

36 or 48 hours per week accepted

Weekends:

Every other weekend required

Holidays:

As needed

Floating:

Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals within the system

Qualifications:



Education:

Associate degree in Nursing (required)

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience; may consider 18 months with 1 year in specialty area

Licensure:

Active

Alabama RN license

or

Compact RN license

(temporary licenses not accepted)

Certifications:



+ AHA or Red Cross

BLS

(required)
