Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Travel Registered Nurse

to join the

Labor & Delivery

team in

Birmingham, Alabama

. This role offers the opportunity to provide compassionate, high-quality care to mothers and newborns in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Assignment Details:

Start Date:

Duration:

13 weeks

Shift:

Nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Pay Rate:

$44/hour

Location Requirement:

Must maintain a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients. Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery. Assist physicians and midwives during births and obstetric emergencies. Administer medications and manage IVs as needed. Educate and support mothers and families through the birthing process and postpartum recovery.

Qualifications:

Licensure:

Active Registered Nurse license (state of Alabama or compact license)

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of recent

Certifications:

BLS

(Basic Life Support)

ACLS

(Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

NRP

(Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
