Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse specialising in Emergency Care to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, immediate patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of all patients. Duties

Assess and monitor patients' conditions promptly upon arrival, prioritising care based on severity. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring correct dosages and procedures. Perform comprehensive patient care including wound management, IV therapy, and vital sign monitoring. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes. Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families during stressful situations. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards at all times. Assist in emergency procedures such as resuscitation or stabilisation of critically ill patients.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse qualification recognised by the relevant regulatory body. Proven experience in emergency or acute care settings is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to inform clinical decisions. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards individuals in distress. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Good organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
