Travel Registered Nurse (MS/Tele - Renal Unit)

Location:

Tuscaloosa, AL 35401

Assignment Details:

We're seeking an experienced Travel RN to join the Renal/Medical-Surgical Telemetry team in Tuscaloosa, AL. This position offers flexible scheduling of

36 or 48 hours per week

, with

holiday coverage as required

and

every other weekend

rotation. Candidates must be willing to

float to other units and hospitals

as needed.

About the Unit:

The Renal Unit is a 36-bed department specializing in the care of patients with kidney-related conditions, including acute and chronic kidney disease requiring renal replacement therapy. Nurses in this unit typically manage a

1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio

and provide expert care in

post-hemodialysis

and

ongoing peritoneal dialysis

. The team works closely with nephrologists, family practice providers, and hospitalists to ensure exceptional, patient-centered care throughout every stage of treatment and recovery.

Requirements:

Education:

Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)

Licensure:

Active

Registered Nurse license

in the State of Alabama or Compact License (No temporary licenses accepted)

Certifications:

AHA or Red Cross

Basic Life Support (BLS)

certification

Experience:

Minimum

2 years of experience

, or at least

18 months of experience

with 1 year in the specialty area (MS/Tele or Renal preferred)

Verification:

NURSYS verification required
