Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate

Registered Nurse (RN)

to join the

Medical/Surgical & Telemetry team

for night shifts. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment, utilizing telemetry monitoring, clinical expertise, and strong communication skills to ensure positive patient outcomes and safety throughout each shift.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Med/Surg and Telemetry patients following hospital policies and clinical best practices. Monitor, interpret, and respond promptly to telemetry and cardiac monitoring data. Initiate and maintain IV access, draw labs, and safely administer prescribed medications and treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments, documenting changes and communicating critical findings to the healthcare team. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care. Accurately chart all patient interactions and interventions using

EPIC EMR

. Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards. Educate patients and families to promote understanding, recovery, and overall well-being. Work every other weekend and two of three major holidays per department scheduling guidelines. Demonstrate professionalism, dependability, and sound clinical judgment throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

License:

Active, unrestricted

Registered Nurse (RN) License

- New York State (required)

Certifications:

BLS Certification

(required)

Experience:

Minimum

1.5-2 years of recent acute care experience

(within the past 2 years) in a hospital of similar size or trauma level

Preferred:

Experience in

Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center

and

EPIC EMR proficiency
