Root planning
Curettage
Periodontal charting and other diagnostic procedures including radiographs
Coronal polishing
Sealant placement
Oral health education
Educate and instruct patients
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Shall be required to develop familiarity and abide by current policies, procedures, by-laws, and regulation of the on-site clinical and medical staff.
Shall possess sufficient initiative, interpersonal relationship skills and social sensitivity such that he/she can relate constructively to patients of the Native American/Alaska Native communities.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Completion of a course of study in Dental Hygiene accredited by the American Dental Association as evidenced by a degree or certification.
LICENSURE REQUIREMENT
Any State License
A valid current and unrestricted license to practice dental hygiene in a State of the United States of America.
