Job Description

OBP has an immediate, full-time position in a fast-paced, office environment coordinating all reservations and logistics associated with OBP trips and departures.

Ideal Requirements:

Proven customer service experience, strong aptitude for multi-tasking, creative problem solving, and critical thinking.

Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Comfortable working with numbers -- you will be calculating commissions, margins, fees, and tax rates.

Prior administrative office experience is highly beneficial.

Personal accountability for accuracy is of utmost importance, and a high level of organization, orientation to detail and a quick, efficient work ethic are CRITICAL for success in this role.

Positive "can-do" attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficiency with CRM technology, PC systems and Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Preference given to candidates with experience in the travel and tourism industry.

In-office presence, Monday - Friday, namely between the hours of 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM.

Responsibilities

:

You will be responsible for reserving, managing, and assisting in the planning, logistics and production of Private Custom Journeys. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

Creating and managing accommodation, activity, guide, transportation and meal reservations for current and future journeys.

Establishing and developing strong, positive, working relationships with provider partners, including the negotiation of future terms in some cases.

Managing written and oral correspondence to liaise between trip stakeholders (clients, vendors, guides and internal OBP departments).

Maintaining accurate and current information related to travel experiences within the company enterprise system (development, organization, store, access).- Using clear, creative writing skills to facilitate and enhance the delivery of client travel information.

Evaluating, processing, and fulfilling client travel documents by consistently following current methods of operation to maximize and streamline the preparation and delivery of exceptional travel experiences.

Confirming reservations and trip details prior to departure to ensure seamless execution of planned itinerary.

Learning the OBP travel style and the places we love, while continually looking for ways to deliver 5-star service and ensure traveler success.
