Responsibilities
Perform ultrasound examinations and ensure high-quality imaging results.
Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment for optimal performance.
Evaluate and improve personal performance based on feedback and metrics.
Document patient information and imaging results accurately.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss imaging findings.
Manage patient schedules and ensure timely examinations.
Assist in training new staff on ultrasound procedures and equipment.
Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues.
Participate in departmental meetings to discuss goals and strategies.
Experience/Qualifications
Proven experience performing ultrasound examinations in a clinical setting.
Current certification in ultrasound technology from an accredited body.
Strong knowledge of safety protocols and sterile techniques in healthcare.
Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.
Ability to evaluate personal performance and implement feedback for improvement.
Strong organizational skills for managing patient schedules and documentation.
Experience in maintaining and calibrating ultrasound equipment.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to a positive team environment.
Familiarity with departmental goals and strategies through active participation.
