Responsibilities
Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and assess patient responses to therapy and adjust treatments accordingly.
Achieve performance targets and contribute to team success.
Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment usage.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on respiratory therapy advancements.
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
Utilize performance metrics to evaluate and improve personal effectiveness.
Provide feedback to management on patient care processes and improvements.
Assist in the maintenance and calibration of respiratory equipment.
Experience/Qualifications
Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Iowa or eligible for licensure.
Commitment to continuous professional development and training opportunities.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to advancements in respiratory therapy.
Experience in administering respiratory therapy treatments in clinical settings.
Ability to monitor patient responses and adjust treatments based on assessments.
Strong communication skills to educate patients and families effectively.
