Responsibilities
Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment options.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all procedures.
Utilize performance metrics to evaluate and improve personal effectiveness.
Assist in the development of respiratory care protocols and best practices.
Contribute to team meetings and share insights for continuous improvement.
Engage in community outreach to promote respiratory health awareness.
Experience/Qualifications
Valid respiratory therapist license in South Carolina.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Experience in administering respiratory therapy in a clinical setting.
Ability to monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans effectively.
Understanding of safety and regulatory standards in healthcare.
Strong knowledge of respiratory health education for patients and families.
Strong documentation skills for accurate patient treatment records.
Ability to utilize performance metrics for personal effectiveness.
Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Engagement in community outreach for respiratory health awareness.
