Responsibilities
Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment options.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on respiratory therapy advancements.
Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in respiratory care.
Utilize performance metrics to evaluate and improve personal effectiveness.
Provide support in achieving departmental targets and objectives.
Assist in the development of treatment protocols and best practices.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among team members.
Experience/Qualifications
Valid respiratory therapy license in Indiana and relevant certifications.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
Experience in administering diverse respiratory treatments to various patient populations.
Proven ability to meet departmental targets and contribute to team success.
Strong communication skills to educate patients and families effectively.
Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in respiratory therapy.
