Responsibilities
Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment options.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all procedures.
Utilize performance metrics to track personal and team success.
Assist in the development of treatment protocols and best practices.
Provide support and mentorship to junior staff and interns.
Engage in community outreach to promote respiratory health awareness.
Experience/Qualifications
Valid and active Respiratory Therapist license in Florida.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Experience in administering respiratory therapy in clinical settings.
Excellent communication skills for patient and family education.
Strong understanding of respiratory health and treatment protocols.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
Proficiency in maintaining accurate patient documentation.
Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in healthcare.
Experience in mentoring or supporting junior staff.
Willingness to engage in community outreach initiatives.
