Responsibilities
Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed.
Monitor and assess patient progress and response to therapy.
Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment plans.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient care strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in therapy delivery.
Utilize performance metrics to track and improve personal success.
Engage in team meetings to discuss patient care and performance outcomes.
Assist in the development of respiratory care protocols and guidelines.
Provide feedback on equipment and therapy effectiveness for continuous improvement.
Support the onboarding and training of new respiratory therapy staff.
Experience/Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in North Carolina.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Experience in administering respiratory therapy in a clinical setting.
Ability to monitor and assess patient progress effectively.
Team-oriented mindset with accountability for individual success.
Strong communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.
Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in respiratory therapy.
Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation of patient treatments.
Experience with performance metrics to track therapy outcomes.
