Position: ALLIED-MLT-Medical Laboratory Technician (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities
Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.
Document and report test results in a timely manner.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Engage in performance evaluations and set personal growth goals.
Adhere to safety and quality control protocols in the laboratory.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and laboratory accreditation.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss test results.
Utilize data analysis to improve laboratory processes and outcomes.
Assist in the development of new laboratory procedures and techniques.
Contribute to team meetings and share insights for continuous improvement.
Monitor inventory levels of laboratory supplies and reorder as necessary.
Experience/Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in test documentation.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
Proficiency in laboratory testing procedures and equipment maintenance.
Strong analytical skills for data analysis and process improvement.
Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is preferred.
Familiarity with regulatory standards and laboratory accreditation.
Ability to set personal growth goals and engage in performance evaluations.
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Experience in inventory management for laboratory supplies.
