Responsibilities
Perform mammography procedures with precision and care for patient comfort.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations in all procedures.
Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Document and report imaging results accurately and promptly.
Contribute to achieving departmental targets and goals.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Utilize performance metrics to track personal and team success.
Engage with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns.
Monitor and evaluate patient responses during imaging procedures.
Participate in quality assurance programs to enhance service delivery.
Assist in training and mentoring new staff members.
Experience/Qualifications
Certification in Mammography Technology from an accredited program.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Proven experience in performing mammography procedures with patient care focus.
Strong interpersonal skills to engage and reassure patients during procedures.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in imaging.
Experience in collaborating with healthcare professionals for patient care.
Ability to monitor and evaluate patient responses during imaging.
Ability to document and report imaging results accurately and promptly.
Willingness to assist in training and mentoring new staff members.
Familiarity with quality assurance programs in healthcare settings.
