Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Cath Lab.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Engage in performance evaluations and set personal improvement goals.
Maintain and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.
Utilize data and metrics to assess personal and team performance.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care.
Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the team.
Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns.
Document patient information and procedures accurately and timely.
Support the development of best practices within the Cath Lab.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the Cath Lab environment.
Experience/Qualifications
Must hold an ALLIED certification for Cath Lab technology.
Experience with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a Cath Lab setting.
Proficient in monitoring patient vital signs and reporting changes.
Eagerness to set personal improvement goals and engage in evaluations.
Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Familiarity with safety protocols and infection control measures.
Strong communication skills to explain procedures to patients.
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain Cath Lab equipment effectively.
Experience in collaborating with healthcare professionals for patient care.
Ability to document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
