Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center Beach is looking to add a Patient Transporter in our Patient Escort Services Department at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville Beach.

This is a PRN opportunity.

The primary responsibilities of the Transporter are:accept patient move assignments from the Dispatcher to provide a safe and efficient transport of the patient; + This may be done utilizing a wheelchair, stretcher, or bed and must always be done in a quick yet safe manner.
work closely with the nursing staff to ensure that continuity of patient care is maintained at all times. be compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
