TransX USA, has an immediate opening for a

Transportation Planner

, in our Eagan, Minnesota terminal. The

Transportation Planner

is responsible for planning OTR drivers routes efficiently based on Hours of Service & customer requirements.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Providing technical planning assistance & guidance for capturing, modeling, and analyzing work site information, geographical resources, and spatial & tabular data. Create plans for the safe movement of products across various transportation modes. Optimize logistics, scheduling, and transportation systems.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have the following skills and abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience in multi-modal transportation projects, and studies, understanding hours of service, transit times, weights and measures safety regulations and eLogs Knowledge of DAT & TMW a plus. Detailed and customer orientated Strong communication skills, both oral and written Strong conflict resolution skills Strong time management skills Previous transportation planning a plus.
