Interact with various healthcare facilities, insurance agencies and managed care organizations
Verify insurance coverage with carriers
Obtain insurance or managed care authorizations
Determine medical necessity for ambulance services
Communicate and document service delays
Maintain a calm atmosphere, non-emotional, professional tone throughout the office and phone calls
