Job Summary
This posting will be used to fill two (2) vacancies in, Baxter, Signs/Snow and Ice for MnDOT District 3. This position exists to perform skilled road maintenance, snow and ice control activities, roadway signing, roadway maintenance and sign replacement to keep roadways and roadsides safe, clear and in good repair according to Mn/DOT standards, and perform related work as required such as asset management (TAMS) and work manager programs.

Minimum Qualifications
The level of experience to perform this job at the TG level can be achieved with:
One year of experience performing any of the following: sign installation and maintenance, activities in snow and ice, roadway, and roadside maintenance, driving commercial vehicles, operating heavy equipment, farm experience, snowplow operations, road construction, etc.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver\'s License (CDL) with no air brake restriction and tanker endorsement.
Crane qualified within 6 months of hire.
Working knowledge of English sufficient to read, write, speak, and understand oral and written information; communicate with employees and the public in-person or via two-way radio and other electronic devices; and to maintain routine written logs and simple records.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous MnDOT experience working as a Laborer, Transportation Associate or Transportation Generalist
