Job Description

Join Shepler's in a fast paced, team-oriented work environment. Help us provide our guests with the Shepler's family tradition of "First Class Service" to Mackinac Island. As a Transportation Driver you will be responsible for the safe transport of our guests to and from local hotels and campgrounds. Transportation drivers also assist guests as well as fellow Cast Members with transportation to and from our remote parking lots. Additional duties include helping guests enter and exit the shuttle bus, making sure guests are assisted with the loading of their luggage, bicycles, wheelchairs and other personal items. Completing daily safety inspections and maintaining a clean shuttle bus inside and out is a must. Knowledge of working a two-way radio and being familiar with using a tablet will be helpful in this position. Our fleet consists of 14 passenger and 16+ passenger shuttle buses. We also operate a 60+ passenger shuttle tram at our Mackinaw City location only.

This position often works outdoors in all types of weather.

Part Time/Full Time/Seasonal

Full Time, Seasonal (May 1 - October 31) or Full Time, Peak Season (June 1 - August 19)

Ideal candidates must be 18 years of age and possess:



St. Ignace - Chauffeur's Driver License, Passenger Endorsement, & a valid DOT Medical Card is required.

Mackinaw City - Chauffeur's Driver License, Passenger Endorsement, & a valid DOT Medical Card is required.
