Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for transporting wheelchair-bound residents as well as ambulatory residents that may need assistance in getting to and from their medical appointments and/or any other destination.

Transport patients to and from facility. Maintain complete and accurate log.

Operate vehicle in accordance with applicable traffic laws, Company Vehicle Policy, federal and state regulations.

Follow guidelines for vehicle maintenance, reporting vehicle malfunctions and traffic accidents, etc.

Immediately report any hazardous conditions, accidents and/or incidents with residents.

Maintains cleanliness of vehicle - both interior and exterior.

Maintains proper forms in vehicles.

Understand, comply with and promote all rules regarding residents' rights; promote positive relationships with residents, visitors, and regulators, to include presenting a professional appearance and attitude.

Attend and participate in training, educational activities and staff meetings.

Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.




No experience necessary, will train and assist with getting CPR license. CNA certification preferred.
