We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Driver to join our team at our skilled nursing facility in Augusta, KS. This role is essential to providing safe transportation to our residents to get them to and from various events, activities and medical appointments.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and organizing transportation logistics. Ensuring safe transport of residents to and from events. Driving the company vehicle as needed Plan and implement transportation schedules for the facility. Coordinate transport for residents to outside events. Operate the company vehicle when necessary. Collaborate with the Environmental Director on any transportation-related duties.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent certification. Valid, clean driver's license. CPR certification (training available if needed). Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking). Ability to adapt care for residents of varying ages. Independent decision-making skills. Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and others. Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong communication and interpersonal skills Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
