We are looking for a

Dispatcher

to work

full time

in our

Gorham, ME

location. You will serve as a communication point for our truck drivers. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator and must be able to multi-task as well as take appropriate action with little supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

Day Shift

Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday

Pay:

$23.00 - $24.00 per hour

Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance. Maintaining records of dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes, as well as delivery and pick-up times Review driver logs, including dispatched calls and arrival times Monitoring truck repairs and maintenance schedules Keeping track of transportation regulations and laws to ensure that truck drivers comply

Job Requirements:

Experience as a Truck Dispatcher in a similar industry

High School Diploma or GED Experience with Transportation Management Software is a plus Knowledge of applicable transportation regulations and laws Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
