Overview:


A leading provider of professional engineering and quality assurance/quality control services is seeking a

Transportation Construction Inspector

to support transportation infrastructure projects for a state Department of Transportation.

Responsibilities:



Inspect transportation construction work (roads, bridges, structures) for compliance with plans and specifications. Document daily activities, quantities, materials, and test results. Report non-conformances and safety issues. Use Word, Excel, email, and internet-based systems for reports and documentation.

Requirements:



2+ years' construction inspection experience. State DOT project experience preferred. Within ~50 miles of Pittsburgh, PA preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Valid driver's license. High School Diploma or equivalent. Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship).

Physical Requirements:



Able to climb, kneel, crouch, walk, stand for long periods. Lift up to 20 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently. Adequate vision for color, depth perception, and field of view.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.08 - $30.01 per hour
