Job Description

Transportation Aide (7.57 hrs per day, 5 days a week) to be assigned to the Transportation Department. The approximate hours for this position will be Monday - Friday 6:10-8:50; 10:30-12:45; 1:50-4:30 (178 days worked plus 8 paid holidays). The
salary minimum is $14.19 per hour.

Monitor and manage student behavior on the school bus. Help with the safe loading, securing, and unloading of passengers. Recognize each contact with the public as an opportunity to promote a positive impression of the school district.
Minimum Qualifications include but not limited to:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid State of Ohio educational aide permit. A clear record as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and/or the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Ability to learn skills appropriate for the
position. Demonstrated maturity and the ability to work with students and their families.
