Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing support across various functions, particularly in driving and customer service. The ideal candidate will hold a C.N.A. License, possess a strong background in transportation, with experience in transportation of residents. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

Safely operate vehicles for resident transportation, deliveries, or other transportation needs. Provide exceptional customer service to passengers and clients, ensuring a positive experience. Assist with the maintenance of vehicles, including routine checks, documentation of mileage, and reporting any issues. Accommodate passengers with special needs. Perform heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring the safe handling of residents. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues.

Skills

Proven experience in transportaton of residetns with specail needs. Familiarity with bus driving or school bus driving is a plus. Strong customer service skills to enhance client interactions. Effective communication skills for clear and professional exchanges. Ability to perform maintenance tasks on vehicles as needed is a plus. Experience with paratransit services is advantageous. Capability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 46 per week
