POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY Courtesy drivers must have good customer service skills.\xe2\x80\xaf\xe2\x80\xafThe safety of passengers is the primary responsibility of the driver.\xe2\x80\xaf\xe2\x80\xafDrivers must have the ability to sit for several hours at a time, and the hand-eye coordination to operate the transport vehicle while being aware of their surroundings.\xe2\x80\xaf\xe2\x80\xafPatience is necessary when dealing with heavy traffic and agitated riders and dependability ensures that drivers maintain their schedules. Minimum Requirements: 18 years of age or older Valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License with driving record acceptable by motor vehicle insurance carrier Current possession of or the ability to successfully complete within one (1) month of hire the following: Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) Valid BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA Preferred) IS 700: An Introduction to the National Incident Management System IS 100: Introduction to the ICS
System IS 200: Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response IS 800: National Response Framework, an Introduction Hazardous Materials (HAZ-MAT) Awareness (Meeting or exceeding OHSA 1910.120) Education: Possession of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) Preferred criteria include: Current or previous EMS certification or license (National or State) Length of Service: No minimum requirement. Preferred criterial include: 2 or more years of experience as an emergency response driver in an EMS, Fire, or Law Enforcement service Job Type: Full-time Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour Benefits:
