Stillwater Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation is a

75-bed skilled nursing facility

located in the heart of Covington, Ohio and is seeking a

Transport Driver

to join our team and safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and approved outings.

Day Shift Transport Driver - Hours Vary

The

Transport Driver

is responsible for ensuring safe, timely, and comfortable transportation for residents while maintaining dignity, respect, and professionalism. This role works closely with nursing staff to ensure residents arrive safely at appointments and return to the facility in a timely manner.

Responsibilities For Transport Driver

Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and other approved destinations Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle, including wheelchair and mobility assistance Secure wheelchairs, walkers, and safety restraints properly Maintain cleanliness and safety of the transport vehicle Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding schedules, delays, or resident needs Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs Provide friendly interaction and reassurance to residents during transport

Requirements For Transport Driver

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle report Experience working with seniors or in healthcare preferred Knowledge of wheelchair securement and passenger safety preferred Strong communication skills Dependability, patience, and a compassionate attitude
