Automotive Transmission Rebuilder



Position Responsibilities



Diagnose, rebuild and repair automotive transmission systems to specifications- knowledge of electrical and computer systems is a plus Explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include other teammates and customers as required Remove and Reinstall Transmission systems Assist other technicians in performing technical activities Continuously learns new technical information and techniques informal training session in order to stay abreast with the rapidly changing automotive technology Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur Maintains an organized service department

JOB REQUIREMENTS



Minimum of 2+ years' experience working as a Automotive Transmission Rebuilder Hold a valid driver's license Own professional grade tools Experience with mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience specific to transmission rebuilding Ability to communicate solutions to others ASE certifications a plus * Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
