Job Description

CyberStorm Defense(TM) is seeking a Training & Implementation Specialist to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) in designing, developing, and delivering technical and operational training for new FAA systems and programs.

This role supports Program Management Organization (PMO) and Technical Operations (AJW) training initiatives for NextGen, Enterprise Services, and NAS modernization programs. The specialist will develop comprehensive courseware, implement user adoption strategies, and coordinate rollout readiness for field and headquarters personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver training programs, technical instruction, and user guides for FAA systems and tools. Develop courseware using ADDIE, SCORM, or FAA Academy instructional design standards. Conduct classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training for engineers, technicians, and system users. Support implementation planning for new system deployments, ensuring seamless user transition and readiness. Coordinate with program managers, systems engineers, and human factors specialists to validate training requirements. Create job aids, e-learning modules, quick reference guides, and feedback surveys. Track training completion and competency metrics using FAA Learning Management Systems (LMS). Assist in change management and stakeholder communication planning to support technology adoption.

Mandatory Qualifications

7 + years of experience in training design, delivery, and implementation support for technical or aviation programs. Proven experience supporting FAA Academy, TechOps, or similar federal training environments. Expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and e-learning development tools (Articulate 360, Captivate, Camtasia). Strong understanding of FAA AMS, NextGen modernization, and technical training delivery standards. Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior support to FAA PMO (AJM) or TechOps (AJW) training initiatives. Certifications: Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), FAA Academy Trainer, or PMP. Familiarity with FAA Change Management (CM) and System Implementation Readiness frameworks. Experience developing hybrid training models and blended-learning delivery approaches. Active Public Trust or Secret clearance preferred.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
