Title: Trailer Repair Tech

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Number 1 Carson Trailer, LLC is looking for a motivated, self-driven, and hard-working trailer repair technician to join our team at our Carson City location. The ideal candidate will have experience with basic trailer repairs, trailer maintenance, and welding. Candidates will be required to have a valid driver's license, reliable means of transportation, and have their own tools or ability to obtain the basic tools to work on trailers efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Show up every day with a positive attitude and ready to work. Help foster a family like environment between customers and coworkers alike. Work independently on customer owned units and inventory units Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area. Assist with unloading of new inventory deliveries and assemble units as needed. Perform basic trailer maintenance i.e. bearing services, electrical work, brake services. Complete work orders legibly for front office to bill out.
Experience:

Experience in trailer maintenance Experience in trailer electrical Knowledge of basic functions and options on trailers Experience with welding
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED Basic computer and office equipment skills Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Excellent time management skills. Ability to work in a variety of roles as needed. Must possess a valid Driver's License.
Requirements:

Possess your own tools and tool storage. Specialty tools (i.e welders) will be provided by the company.

Salary:

This is an hourly paid position. Pay is $20 -$30 per hour depending on experience.
