GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The mission of the MMTA is to provide leadership within the trucking industry by promoting the economic importance of our industry, developing strategies to create and stimulate a fair and intelligent attitude on the part of the general public and to offer education programs and services that will help members thrive and be successful. Whenever any of our members, potential members, customers or potential customers contact us, it is imperative that their first and subsequent impression is that the MMTA is a quality organization offering professional service. We must strive to satisfy their requests with the utmost integrity, proficiency and courtesy so that they remain our members/customers for a very long time.

DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process long term and annual trailer registrations; new, transfers, duplicate certificates, lost plates, corrections and titles. Scan documents into document imaging software program. Answer phone; take orders for new registrations. Cross-train to be able to cover other functions as well. Organize and maintain company files on all registrants. All other tasks or functions that can improve the business and the services provided.

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
