Job Title: Trailer Driver Assistant


Location: 2600 Common St, Lake Charles, LA 70601

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 40-45 hours per week

Shift: 10-hour shift

Work Days: Monday to Friday (Weekends as needed)

Key Responsibilities:


Assist in Loading and Unloading - Safely and efficiently help load and unload goods, equipment, and appliances. Ensure all items are properly handled and securely transported. Support the Delivery Process - Help ensure timely and safe delivery of equipment and appliances to customers and facilities. Ensure Safety and Compliance - Assist in performing vehicle inspections, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining safe driving practices. Collaborate with the Driver - Work closely with the driver to ensure smooth delivery operations, assist with navigation, and help with route planning. Support Customer Interactions - Help create positive customer experiences by assisting with any issues that arise during the delivery process. Maintain Cleanliness and Organization - Ensure the vehicle, equipment, and tools are organized, clean, and in good working condition.

Requirements:


Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly. Ability to commute or relocate to Lake Charles, LA 70601 (required). Full-time availability (40-45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends). Valid driver's license.
