We are currently seeking a dedicated and responsible Traffic Controller to join our team. As a Traffic Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of traffic flow at construction sites. This is an important position that requires strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

We have jobs in Natick and Dedham, Massachusetts scheduled for the next 5-6 months. This is where your primary location would be.

Responsibilities:

- Direct traffic at construction sites to ensure the safe and orderly movement of vehicles and pedestrians

- Set up traffic control devices, such as cones, barricades, and signs, according to established guidelines

- Monitor traffic flow and adjust traffic control measures as needed

- Communicate with construction crews, drivers, and pedestrians to provide guidance and ensure compliance with traffic regulations

- Coordinate with law enforcement personnel or other authorities when necessary

- Maintain accurate records of traffic control activities

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Traffic Controller or in a related role is preferred but not required

- Knowledge of traffic control procedures and regulations is a plus

- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with drivers, pedestrians, and construction crews

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and perform manual labor

- Valid Driver's License & Personal Vehicle
