Southpointe Energy Resource Group is a well-established, rapidly growing company with operations in Ohio and Pennsylvania. As we continue to expand into Manassas, Virginia, we are seeking another local, experienced Traffic Control Field Supervisor to join our management team. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing traffic control operations at various job sites, supervising traffic control crews, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, and maintaining safe and efficient traffic flow in roadwork and construction zones. Must be able to pass a drug screen prior to and randomly throughout employment.

REQUIREMENTS:



High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in field supervision, training, and traffic control operations. Strong understanding of traffic control practices, safety protocols, and job site management. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient computer skills, including training program development and documentation. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Certification in traffic control and/or traffic management preferred. Strong training facilitation and instructional design skills. Attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:



Lead and supervise traffic control teams during roadwork projects, ensuring that personnel are positioned effectively and following established procedures. Provide guidance and support to traffic controllers to manage traffic flow and safety. Monitor traffic conditions and adjust personnel placement as needed to maintain smooth traffic flow and minimize congestion. Implement strategies to handle unexpected traffic situations and ensure the safety of workers and the public. Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and traffic control regulations during field operations. Address safety concerns promptly and take corrective actions when necessary. Maintain accurate and organized records of field operations, incidents, and observations. Document meetings with management regarding strategies for continuous improvement in traffic control operations.
