Park Inc is looking for traffic control attendants to work at the Queens Cup Steeplechase on April 30, 2023. The hours are 8am - 3:30pm. The pay is $20 per hour. Traffic Control Attendants are responsible for directing traffic to ensure a smooth flow and to avoid backups. Essential Functions:

- Assess and maintain traffic patterns and control in assigned work location
- Direct movement of traffic through entrances/exits using sign and hand signals
- Manage the placement, movement and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices
- Be kind and courteous to the traveling public/pedestrians
- Be punctual and consistent in their scheduled duty times and attendance
- Possess flexibility to perform other duties as assigned

- Possess a willingness to stand in assigned location and direct traffic.
- Possess a commitment to attendance and punctuality.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, repetitively hold signs and/or flags, have the ability to use and raise arms to chest height in order to direct traffic.
- Must be physically able to move and place any signage in appropriate location.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Adhere to all regulatory, company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions including wind, rain, cold, snow, heat, etc
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability
