CGI Federal Inc. seeks a Trade Compliance Director with significant experience in trade regulations, compliance, and licensing within the federal government contract sector. The Trade Compliance Director will report to CGI Federal\'s Deputy General Counsel for Legal Compliance and will implement CGI Federal\'s trade compliance program, serving as the primary point of contact for all trade compliance matters for CGI Federal and its various wholly-owned subsidiaries.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
The Trade Compliance Director will lead the day-to-day management of Trade Compliance to ensure adherence to trade compliance policies, procedures, and best practices and manage export authorizations in accordance with the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As the functional lead of Trade Compliance, the Trade Compliance Director will manage a Compliance Specialist and be responsible for all aspects of trade compliance including: applying for export licensing; ensuring certification of exemptions/exceptions; classifying products and programs for export classification; filing documents with Customs; ensuring OFAC compliance; conducting restricted party screening; developing annual training and policies and procedures; implementing an internal monitoring/audit program; and providing guidance to programs.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
The successful candidate should have a Bachelors\' degree or equivalent work experience and 10 years of export licensing and compliance experience at a federal government contractor. Additionally, the successful candidate must have experience with encryption software classification, applying for licenses, filing documents with Customs, knowledge of both the ITAR and the EAR, as well as OFAC regulations. Working knowledge of Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) requirements, personal protective equipment exports, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) is a plus. The successful candidate also must have: (1) a demonstrated ability to integrate with and support business operations; (2) the ability to multi-task and work across functional lines; and (3) must be a U.S. citizen, have excellent references, and the ability to obtain a government security clearance.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119,500-$230,100.
