Job Description

Minimum Requirements:

Completed Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. Social Worker License issued by the Puerto Rico Board of Examiners of Social Workers (Provisional or Permanent License). Member of the College of Social Work Professionals of Puerto Rico. Minimum of one year of experience. Experience working with families and regulatory agencies. Knowledge of field research techniques. Able to work independently, have a strong work ethic, and possess excellent written and verbal skills (both in English and Spanish). Ability to interview, provide advice, and compile reports. Must have excellent interpersonal skills with staff and the general public. Computer skills, especially Microsoft Office. Available to work in different locations including San Juan, Bayamon, Carolina, and Caguas. Own transportation. Promote an environment that provides experiences of social interaction and human coexistence leading to a better quality of life in our communities. Help people develop a sense of responsibility and belonging to their community by helping them organize and giving them tools to work for their own benefit. Encourage residents to maintain the facilities and prevent social situations from affecting the functioning of the community.
Availability to work 40 hours a week. Work schedule Monday to Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm.
